Globally, the number of people who are using e-commerce platforms to purchase consumer goods increased by 8%. This is according to We Are Social’s 2018 Global Digital report. Now almost 1.8 billion people worldwide are shopping online, and brands and retailers are investing in social media presence. Since Facebook has the largest number of daily users, it has become a great avenue for advertisements and promotions.
